What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you opt to contact us using the contact form on our site we will collect and store all details you provide: your name, a contact email address, your message, and optionally a phone number should you choose to provide one.
This data is held with the sole purpose of answering your query and will never be passed onto third parties without your authorisation. We will also use this email address or given phone number to contact you in response to your query. We will not contact you with marketing messages on the details you provide via this form.
This data will be wiped routinely after its purpose has been served and it is no longer needed to maintain contact with you in regard to your queries.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How we protect your data
Any data provided is stored in a secured database separate from our web server which has its passwords routinely cycled at least once a month.
What data breach procedures we have in place
Our servers are monitored for intrusion throughout the day and logs routinely checked. Access to the sites database is limited in regular operation and opened manually for administrators when maintenance work is required.
In the event of a data breach we will contact all users with data currently saved to alert them to this and give case by case advise. We will alert you within 24 hours of discovery.
What third parties we receive data from
Should you book one of our pods or otherwise submit data to booking.com in regards to one of our pods, some of your data will be passed onto us, where it will be held until its use in organising your booking is complete.
Note that some data may be required by law to be kept for business record keeping purposes.
