The Arns is a “sustainable living” Small Holding. What does this mean?
A small holding is smaller than a farm but bigger than an allotment. A sustainable living small holding is about breeding and rearing livestock and growing vegetables to live off the land and be self sufficient.
The Arns Small Holding and Glamping Pods are run by Laura and her family. Horses, sheep, goats and hens are just some of the gorgeous and rather cheeky animals you will encounter here. Learn more about Our Animals
The Arns Glamping Pods is a new and unique opportunity to stay on a sustainable living small holding in Bridge of Allan surrounded by livestock and wildlife. A perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of walking, cycling, running, golfing or travelling.
There are 4 glamping pods at The Arns, each pod sleeps 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 well behaved dogs. The pod has its own shower room (with a shower cubical, toilet & sink), kitchen facility, fixed bed and sofa bed for the kids. No bedding is provided (please contact Laura directly if you are unable to bring bedding & towels). Each pod will have one allocated parking bay.
The shower room has a shower cubicle and is not a wet room.
Each Glamping Pod has its own magnificent views over Dunblane, Perthshire and the Trossachs. Sit with a cuppa and challenge yourself to identify all the Scottish Munro’s in sight. The pods will have a welcome pack for a wee cuppa on arrival along with details of local places to see and eat.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at The Arns Glamping Pods but all dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times. All dog poo must be collected and disposed of in a bin and not disposed of beside the livestock.
The Arns Glamping Pods are suitable for families, couples and single travellers and are in the perfect spot for photographers and artists who love catching the moment with the landscape and nature. Our pods are also the perfect base for cycling enthusiasts, with excellent on and off-road cycling routes in the region.
If you are arriving by train and don’t fancy the walk up the hill to The Arns, contact us in advance and a member of the The Arns team will collect you and your luggage.
We do not allow stag or hen parties, or large single groups.
There is a disabled friendly Glamping Pod but this may NOT be suitable for wheelchair users. The disabled friendly pod does have a larger parking area, flat path to the pod and railings within but unfortunately, due to the pod design, the main pod door can not be made wide enough for wheelchairs.
If you’re worried about accessibility contact us before booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
Service dogs are welcome.
